  1. I know what other people think isn't important. However, I do have dreams of someday getting published, and getting feedback on what readers like and dislike about my work is quite helpful.

I'm kind of surprised that you liked Black Wedding (along with the other reviewer), as I never really thought of it as my best work. In hindsight, though, I can see that it certainly feels more complete than my other stuff.

Have you had a chance to look at The Emperor's Daughter yet? I felt that was my best story on The Library.

Once again, thanks for all of your critical feedback. That's exactly what I need.
  2. You know, as far as ratings and reviews go, I feel that you don't have to pay too much attention to them. Because, in the end, It's not what I or anybody else thinks you should do, but what you yourself think.
You must in the first place write for yourself. If you start listening too much to what other folks think, you're going to end-up writing stuff which will probably garner the same kind of critique, but which you'll not like yourself. And that's not the way to go.
Only 'advise' I would give, is when you've finished a story, to let it rest for a few days to a week, and then read it over to get a more detatched feel of your own writing. If you still feel it's okay, then it probably is.
  3. No. The first few stories I posted aren't particularly good, so they should be a low priority.
  4. Do you have a particular preference for the order in which your stories are best read?
  5. Thank you for your continued feedback.

Though each parts of a larger world, individual stories in the 'FREEDOM' series should be enjoyable on their own. However, I don't want to bog down shorter side-stories like Deception with excessive explanation. Thus, I'm stuck in the position of having the opening blurb supported by indirect exposition, like how the characters treat the contracts, or the legalese of the attorney. Since this is the first short side-story, that balance still needs a lot of work, and I'd certainly be willing to edit more info into Deception.

Oh, and Class Warfare is an ongoing story. The first seven chapters are a single arc, and I hope to post the 'bridge' chapters leading up to the main part of the story pretty soon.
  6. Just left a new reply in "FREEDOM: Deception"...
It seems I should have taken a look at your other work sooner. Which I will not neglect to do and adapt reviews and ratings accordingly.
