I've switched with the same individual in the course of a single evening many times, sometimes sliding back and forth between roles repeatedly as things developed. We're all individuals, after all, and the dynamic between any two people is what is so I don't care to be limited by stereotypes when things are getting really hot. As to my Historical and Philosophical studies they're quite eclectic since I tended to follow whatever caught my interest and that frequently had to do with where I was. Being career Navy I've spent a lot of time in both Asia and the UK so those are the cultures I've studied the most along with my own Native American heritage
On the subject of switching, I find a similar thing with the individual, in that I find that individual's ability to actually dominate me varies greatly. However I feel fairly confident domming anyone. And I would agree with switching with the same individual, or in the same evening - I find reversal between two people the main point. I'd be interested to hear what you're into Historically, Philosophically etc... I tend to be a bit cynical, Nietzsche and the like. And if you're reading anyhting good, or have a favourite feel free to recommend. So long for now...
It's mostly a matter of the individual, some people push one button or the other and it has nothing to do with their gender. Overall I tend to be submissive only with women while domming both women and men, but that has never stopped me from taking a knee to the right guy. The same is true of switching and I've been known to take both roles with the same person if that is how the dynamic between us worked, sometimes in the course of the same evening. I am always up for a good discussion and would be more than happy to discuss Sci/Fi or Philosophy when you've got the time.
Hey Chief, thanks for the acceptance. Out of interest does your bi-sexuality directly link in with being a switch? Dom for one, sub for the other? Or does it vary between individuals (or, indeed, scene)? Also, care to discuss either Scifi/Fantasy, History or Philosophy some time?
