Lost in Transition

Dear lady! Lady Dee is well, ~d~ is not, entirely; she had some major eye surgery, and the recovery is slow and gradual... she is not exactly happy with the lack of speed of healing. The infection, for me, is nearly past; I see the surgeon to set up the date for my latest knee to be installed. *sigh* Seriously, I am glad to see all your well-deserved honors... and happy/thankful to be your friend. Hugs and kisses, dear one!

Hiya Nikita -- yeah, I voted for you in the Bondage Awards. I have to put bdsmbooks in there too, but I'm hoping to get a better-looking design first.

Rotating the older authors to the top happens every time they (*ahem*) submit a new book. That puts a link to their library on the front page, advertised prominently with their latest title.

Other than that, I revive bestselling books on occasion when no new book is available that day. My schedule is to publish twice a week, and fortunately that's about how often I get a new book, but of course sometimes it doesn't happen. Then a revival comes.

Now for the good news (except it's more a preview than news). I'm opening up a new version of the site for "legit" bdsm fiction, the kind that might be sold in stores. This will peel off a few of the authors who prefer to write consensual fiction, and leave a bit of a book deficit on both sites. Of course that means more opportunity to write more genres for you, but also more older books being revived to fill the inevitable gaps.

Schedule still uncertain -- I have a ton to do now!

Hi, beautiful! How are the legs doing? I feel a kindred spirit; once again the deadly MRSA bacteria has attacked my left knee and pushed me into septicemia. They were forced (again!!) to remove my prosthesis and leave me without a knee for six to eight weeks as they battle the infection; then the torture of re-installation and retraining and therapy. *sigh*

At least they are fairly certain that I will be walking again when all is done, though "your racing days are through", and "you may need one of those little carts to get around the grocery stores..."Ah well, could be worse.

Sending you all my love, almost, save the infinite portion reserved for my Rose (faithsf8) and, of course, Lady Dee, who is nursing me.
