Forum Levels
I hope this hasnt been suggested before. I didnt see it anywhere, so I thought I would throw it out there.
I belong to a foot fetish site, where we have "Levels" for posting. For example, the levels would be something such as "All Pro Poster, King (Or Queen) of feet, etc.
My suggestion is that say, every thousand posts, or whatever, there should be different levels of posting. Something such as "Bondage newbie" up to say, 500 posts, and then "Bondage Expert", and so forth. I cant think of what I would call every level off the top of my head, but, something of recognition, to those who post here frequently, and pile up the posts.
Just thought I'd post the suggestion, to see what people think.

Interesting, yes, I've seen this at several sites, too. :)
I don't have preference one way or the other, however, I know there has been a bit of discussion, and a few strong opinions about the 1,000 and 10,000 post awards which, I guess, is a little like what you're suggesting.

Thanks for the suggesting... We'll take a look at it!

Interesting idea, ythough at one forum where I'm a member (about movies) the top grade designation is "hasn't got a life" (=spends too much time online). Not the one we'd want here, lol.

You're welcome, annie. Thanks, Louise, and Alex. It will be interesting to see what comes of this suggestion.

The Vampire Rage site has levels but it's much more than just making post count. post count alone is a tried and failed measure of one's participtation.
Go for quality not quantity.

I understand what you're saying, and thanks for the reply and explanation, delia. I'll give it some thought as to what I want my profile to say under my name.

I used to frequent a site... they had a special category... Wizard... and I was the sole title holder... so beloved was I. (talk about 'dripping'...)
I wonder who I should talk to here?
